Breath-taking Concept Art by Geoffrey Ernault

By Rajasegar Chandiran on August 14th, 2012

Geoffrey Ernault , also know as ‘Exphrasis’, is a concept artist based in Paris, France. Since a very young age, he has had a strong passion for arts in general, and more specially digital painting and 3D sculpting. His inspirations come from his numerous travels, music, movies, video games, science fiction and artworks of course.

At the age of 16, he is offered his first Wacom tablet and discovered digital arts. Ever since, he has been constantly pushing himself in order to become a better, and more efficient artist, always looking forward to learn new techniques and ways of developing his creativity. He is self taught, and has trained himself to observe the world that surrounds him in a very meticulous and curious way. In september 2010 he enters the superior institute of applicated arts (L.I.S.A.A) in Paris, in a course of Game art and design, and is actually still studying there.

Geoffrey also loves playing the Bass, music ( electronic, metal, alternative rock and industrial) , sound design, diving, extreme sports, traveling and photography.

The artists that inspire him range from Mathias verhasselt, Sparth, Luke Mancini,Andree Wallin and others. He tries to live every single day as a new and unique experience. His meme to keep pushing himself is that ‘Everything comes to him who waits, and that practice, passion and dedication makes perfect.’
